Who are we?
Founded in 1989 we are a proudly family-run business and we conduct it with the ethos that ‘the customer always comes first.’ This is instilled in all our staff across the board. We are approachable and friendly and always available to give advice and guidance in all gas-related matters.
With the huge variety of services we offer and a capable team (currently we have 4 delivery vehicles on the road and 3 qualified technicians), we handle large installations but we never ignore the smallest of requirements either.
A proud history
Multigas owner Gerrie Franken has no less than 33 years of solid experience in the gas trade, cutting his teeth as a manager and working his way up to now being the proud owner of the company. Having been qualified as a Technician for 27 years, Gerrie has a vast knowledge of anything to do with gas products, installations and compliance. He is always happy to share this knowledge with his team and his customers, assisting everyone with whom he comes into contact to make the right choices when it comes to gas-related applications.
A great team
Most of our 13 employees have been with the company for more than 15 years, which has resulted in us becoming more of a family than a business! This relaxed convivial attitude is reflected in the excellent work we do and the great relationships we have built with our loyal customer base over the years.
Rising above adversity
Even in the lockdown, our spirits could not be dampened and we started our domestic delivery service to ensure that our valued customers still had easy access to their gas requirements. Today this is a successful and much sought-after service offering our customers the ease and convenience of gas delivered to your doorstep as well as connection and collection of empty cylinders at no extra charge!
Giving back!
We are proud of our social consciousness initiatives too, assisting soup kitchens, night shelters and other charitable institutions wherever possible.
